Putter and the Red Car

I got this book for my 5 year old son. He gets a book or two read to him every night and he loves getting new books. He is also just starting to learn to read, this book will be good for him to read himself in a couple years. I asked him what he thought of the book: He liked the dog sitting on the bed, because it reminded him of his stuffed dog who he always goes to bed with him. He liked the start of the book with the dog in the car, because sometimes he takes his stuffed dog with him in the car . He likes that the family goes on a trip in the car, because it reminds him of driving in the car with his family. He likes when the dog hit the button in the elevator, because he likes to hit the buttons in the elevator. The common theme from above is he can relate very easily with this book, which is why he likes it.
